Vacation Time

Tomorrow after second service is the start of VACATION TIME for Terry and I. It has almost been a year since we have had a vacation together. I cannot wait to spend some quality time w/my better half. We usually take family with us, but this year it is only going to be us (can’t wait). We are going to the beach and this year I am going to teach Terry how to surf (fun,fun,fun). My nephew and I taught ourselves how to surf last year, so teaching Terry shouldn’t take that long. It will lots of fun no matter how long it takes. Terry has never been deep sea fishing either, so I think one day we are going to do that. If you have never been deep sea fishing I would recommend that you go. It’s like a sightseeing tour, but you get to do something while sightseeing. That’s a good thing for people like myself that do not like to be still. The place that we are staying has it’s own pier, so that ought to be romantic at night. When I was a teenager my family stayed at this place every year. When I was fifteen, I thought it would be a good idea to jump off the end of the pier (NOT!). I was met by a lifeguard about halfway back into shore. He began explaining to me that it was against the law to jump off the pier. Long story short, I spent every morning for the rest of the week picking up trash for two hours on the beach. Hopefully, I can keep Terry from wanting to jumping.
